Three intrepid young university students head into the Norwegian countryside to investigate the appearance and hunting down of a bear, only to become sidetracked by talk of a poacher named Hans. The team track down the evasive Hans, eventually following him into the dark depths of a forest at night. There they discover that Hans is not a poacher, but a hunter, and that he's after prey far stranger than bears.
