My apologies for the lack of updates this week – rest assured that Denis’ latest will go live at midnight + 1 minute on Friday morning per the usual – it’s good stuff, so don’t forget to check it out.
As for me, I’ve been in a sort of temperamental roller coaster the past week and on a general downswing – I’ll not bore you with the details, save to say that I’ve not written a damned thing over the past seven days. I decided to take this week as a sort of vacation to clear my head and work on other priorities, like my feeder bug business (yes, I really am this strange).
All that aside, I’ve been watching movies as much as ever, just not forcing myself to write about all of them. You can look forward to coverage of some good stuff over the next couple of weeks – like Shaw Brothers’ OILY MANIAC and the insane (barely) post-code musical WONDER BAR, and Yancey Hendrieth’s ode to the stop-motion fantasies of old, LOST ON ADVENTURE ISLAND.
In the meanwhile, I leave you with this fine quote from my latest literary distraction, Dean Owen’s REPTILICUS:
“Expertly she guided him, her body accommodating itself to the savage lance of his manhood while the world spun around them in a riot of sensation.“
